Here is an extension of our kitchen that I built a couple years back. Birch plywood, oak, pine, and maple frame and panel doors. Normally none of these woods would go together but I glazed them over gel stain with artist oils until the finish looked uniform. Protective coat is rubbed polyurethane. The top is oak butcher block.
