This is my first project where I try out veneering, and it really opened my eyes for it.

My final project the first year of woodworking school, also the fourth piece of furniture I’ve ever built.

Really enjoyed this process and the final result!

Wow this looks great! Wanting to build a sideboard like this but not affording a real one was the reason I got into woodworking, I think I’ll have the skills for this in a few more years. Great design.

Wow that looks great! Love MCM.. Similar to one my neighbours had when i was young and was quite envious about.
Nice use of the weneer and the solution with the protruding dovetails on the drawers is a fine detail.

Could you perhaps share some thoughts on the design, choise of material, build, finish etc?

Liked your sideboard and cabnet as well. Think they go nicely together!
