That one is somewhere in central Idaho in a good home.

I would have to find dozens of little, short, teeny weeny items to put on the shelves so I didn’t block the art work. Beautiful stuff Dennis, as usual.

Gotta love this shuffle. David’s doing all the hard work tracking all these gems down… thanks David!

I like the way the sides taper. How did you do the picture in the back! Beautiful.

Thanks John. That is just a very rough carving painted with acrylic paints.

Gotta love that “Shuffle”.

Denis, don’t know how I missed this earlier. When I saw the carving in the Shuffle picture, I knew it was your work.

Very nice, my friend.

Dennis,
This is very beautiful work. It must take a long time to craft a piece like this one.

Nice that this one came up again. Great job Dennis. Next you can make the bookshelf with the carvings on the doors. Then you can see the carving all the time, except when the door is open to get a book.

That’s way too beautiful to hide with shelves. Shame on you, Dennis. I agree with Bill…should have been on doors.

I like it… I can picture a few choice pieces of art on the shelves and guests being surprised by the “hidden” masterpiece. Yes, indeed, a simple “oh nice bowl/picture/sculpture” turns into “nice bowl/picture/sculpture—wow.. what is this??? Oh my goodness…”

Great piece, Dennis. The frame almost has an Art Nouveau feel about it. And the carving with the polychrome…you already know that your talent there has me in awe. Glad this one came back around.

I have to thank Martin’s wisdom for that feature. It’s great that things don’t end up wheeled away onto some dark stuffy archive with the passage of time, and newer jocks get a view of things posted by members who have been aboard for a while.

That is the nicest non-book bookcase I’ve seen. Nice design elements and execution. Great job Dennis.
