My daughter asked me to come up with an idea for a serving tray for her for Christmas. This was the result. Its made from Philippine Mahogany that I got from a scrap bin at local lumber yard. The used corks I ordered off ebay that cost me about $12 for 250. (There are 129 corks used). Handles came from Lowes. Corks are hot glued to the base with a piece of 1/4” plexy laying on the top. I used 3/8” box joint joinery for the corners. Its 19.5”Lx12”Wx2.5”H. Don’t tell my daughter she hasn’t seen it yet. Now my wife wants one for us !!!
