Plastic Shoe Box Storage Rack

This week I made an easy to move storage rack for plastic shoe boxes. You could use this to store just about anything really (including shoes) but the intention here was to make something for my mother’s yarn as she is using them. Each bin will have a couple metal grommets for yarn to pass through that way yarn can easily be pulled out as needed without getting tangled up into a mess. Each box can be removed easily as needed and the entire unit is light enough to grab and move as needed. It’s breakdown construction thanks to the use of dados.

Without a doubt, a very cleavor idea and build. I like those clear boxes, and they’re pretty cheap. You can see what in them by just looking at em.
