I have been doing these off and on now for a few years. I cut the logs myself. Prep them allowing at least a year of drying time before turning on into a sign. Just now beginning to think of marketing them in my area.

I think that’s a wonderful idea and very well excuted. How large are the logs? I can’t get a good sense of how big the signs are.

The ranch sign (Palmer Ranch) was just over 15 feet in length, log diameter was 12” average. The welcome sign was just short of 18 feet in length with an average diameter of 10”.

I didn’t realiize I cut off some of the welcome log.
The above are what shadow the Welcome sign that do not show on the picture due to length of log.
