box with wooden henge's made from old oak dresser

hi it has being a while since i posted any off my work so i thought i would post a few ..this is a box i made out off a old piece of furnisher that my sister was putting in the trash so i took it and striped it down and put it thought the planer and sander and ended up with great looking red and white oak it was stained nearly black and looked like shit timber put not so what great timber lay hidden behind all that shit it makes me so so angry when people through away old furnisher … well after getting that off my chest i fell better …..well i got 6 boxes out of that old piece perhaps they might survive for another 50 years or so i will post the rest off them if any one is interested in seeing them this one is some of the red oak the henge’s are made out of purple heart i thought it would give it a different look it is finished with 6 coats off tung owl it is 10 inch by 7 by 8 let me know what you think good or bad thanks for having a look

Hugo…that is a great save and creation for something that would have otherwise ended up in the trash.
I like the wood hinges and latch…very nice
