So both of our boys (both 10 but not twins so figure that one out) wanted upper bunk beds. The length of the room was perfect for two bunk beds end to end. This was made of standard home center dimensional lumber that was stained with Colonial Pine and the 4 clear coats of polyurethane satin finish. It is way over engineered for a bunk bed as it is lag bolted on every stud and screwed and bolted anywhere possible. The boys are 10 years old after all.

Not sure if that will hold. 10 year old boys – need cement and rebar.
Well done.
