Alaskan birch heartwood, turned and carved along the wood’s natural figure. Finished in simple walnut oil. It’s about 14” in diameter.

Beautiful work. Well done. I saw a lot of this type of work on our trip to Alaska last August. The skill level up there is amazing. Only wish I had more room to bring back more turnings and carvings. Again, nice work.
