I’ve made these before, they make very good ring holders or small thingy holders. Like paper clips. I put walnut stain on this first then wet sanded this thru 1500 with sanding compound. I dropped the quarter in there to give it scale.

Nice. Has the modern look. Being its wood makes it beautiful.

Nice design Mike.

It looks like you could almost also use it as a spinning toy top.

You lost me with the technical terms: “small thingy holders.” Seriously, you’re very talented. The piece sort of grabs your attention, because of it’s proportions. Thanks for posting!
