Some trivet bases I made for my wife. These were cut out of a piece of Poplar, then run through a dado blade to cut a rabbet for the trivet tiles. I cut the angles then glued one up to use as a template. After the first base dried, I used the base as a guide to create a glue up jig. The rest of the bases went together in a snap. Fun project and I can make more very easily now.
