Hand Carved Welcome Sign, Vinegar and Steel wool stain finish

Here is my latest hand carved sign. This time I wanted to darken the pine, so I used a vinegar and steel wool stain that I had mixed up about 5-6 months ago. I did perform a test on a piece of scrap and it produced a wonderful brown colour. Here you see how the stain reacted with the white pine board. The sign has 8 coats of exterior clear finish.

Also, I started using a stamp on my projects. I pretend the little songbird is a sparrow to fit with my name:
