Had to add a security system/shop helper. My offcuts seem to be disappearing :)

I installed a security system in my garage about three months ago too. Since then, I haven’t noticed any decrease in pilferage and the “system” is crowding me on the couch!

Whew I thought for a minute that you made him outta some kind of exotic wood. :o)

I have 3 dogs, Callie my Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog is my shop dog. When I get a new tool she is the one who has to check it out, her tail wags like crazy. She is by my side when I work.

My other 2 an American Bulldog/Boxer mix and a Shepard Husky mix, the boys would rather chew the wood.

I can’t use my dog as security. If someone were to break in my golden Retriever would offer them his favorite stuffed toy. :-)

kcZ, I had a dog just like yours. They are the best. It’s the best alarm going.

I have a pretty good size bear in the neighborhood. Unfortunately he only hangs around the shop when the blueberries are ripe.

My dog Abby doesn’t come in the shop. In fact if she’s sleeping on the couch when my wife starts the vacuum she’ll come downstairs and stare at me, as if I could do something about it.

-- When my wife ask's what I have to show for my wood working hobby, I just show her the splinters.

I have a lab and a sherpard that a least sound like guard dogs from the other side of the door. The most dangerous thing with the lab is his wagging tail – it can hurt when it gets going!! And the shepard is just rude as she is very good at stepping on toes.

She, Misty, definately sounds like a guard dog. She came from a long line of Police/Personal Protection dogs. She is nowhere near as tough as her father or other siblings but that bark will deter most anyone, her glare is freightening also.

This is not a project. Last time a non project was posted in the project area the lumberjocks FREAKED OUT and it was taken down. I like this site and I like this dog. Looks like a good dog to me. I don’t like that the bigchopperoo had a project taken off. He put up a video that was very silly in the project area and it was taken down. Up tight babies and hypocrisy is something that I’m not so sure I am comfortable being associated with.

I want to rub that dogs belly!

don’t go to extremes spaids. there is a huge difference between those silly videos and this harmless post.
