Very nice coffee table. I can see that one sitting in front of my couch with my indoor chisels and dead blow hammer and some perfectly executed dovetails on a beautiful hunk of teak mmmm….gooooood….wooood….mmmm…..
I’m wondering Tex, can you actually pick up the table with those logs attached or is it more of a temporary fastening sytem holding the logs to the top?

There are 4 @ 4” coarse thread outdoor, star bit screws, in each base. I have not, but would imagine you could hold the top & swing these pieces around your head….. OK, Wait…. I just did it!!! .... pretty solid! Thanks to all, Tex

Ahhhh…. I remember maple… We had some around here, now they’re lost. (Inside joke.) Your rustic furniture is fascinating to me. I love the stalwart feeling I get looking at it. Thanks for posting!
