I built a Chair for our Annual United Way Auction and it raised $250 for Charity. From that auction another person wanted a full set of chairs for their New Patio. They asked if I could Jazz them up with their Favorite University Logo’s and I said sure. I used Water Slide decals to apply the logos. I use Rustoleum Arylic enamel paint that I add Acrylic enamel Hardener to it. This makes it Hard as Nails and Extremely High Gloss!!! I then apply 6 coats of Acrylic Enamel Clear Coat (Automotive Quality with High UV protection) to encase the logos. The wood is all re-cycled from shipping crates I get from local shipping companies. It’s pre-treated with 1 Part Boiled linseed Oil, 2 parts Mineral Spirits, 1 Part Spar Varnish and allowed to dry for 3 days. I glue and screw the chairs, Tables and foot rests using 5 Min Epoxy and Deck Screws. Chairs, table and foot rests are my own design. A full set of furniture sells for $575. This order generated 3 more!!! Gunna have to quit my job to work on my hobby full Time!!!!
