first end grain, how can I keep from burning the groove.
these take longer than expected, but reviews from people I work with are great.

for a 14X16 what would you charge….cherry and maple ????

A potential issue may be the expanding and contracting of
the center piece which I’ve learned on this fine site.

If you’re going to charge for the board you may want to consider avoiding
a potential problem.
I may be wrong though.

I use a plunge router on the 4 corners to avoid the burn marks and maybe you can
go one size larger for the groove?
