Here is my version of the WWFC toy chest. Maple with cherry ply for the panels, and a lift-off top with a rabbet on the bottom to secure it to the chest. Turned out pretty good, but a week late for entry. I’ll still make amdonation somewhere on behalf of wwmm and tww.

Every year Mark Spagnuolo (sp?) The Wood Whisperer and Steve Ramsey of WoodWorking for Mere Mortals team up and put out a project called woodworkers fighting cancer (WWFC). They donate money to a selected cancer charity for every one that gets built.

This year’s project was a toy chest. I built one for my niece, just finished a bit late to enter it for a donation.

Well thats a great program. I will have to look it up. Now all the accronyms make sense. I spent 14 years in the Army and Acronyms still kick my butt.

Acronyms on the job are my life. Our government has a knack for creating them, even when it doesn’t make sense.

Have your say...
