Having finished my Roubo workbench, I tried making a Roubo styled try-square. I didn’t follow any plans, just remembered a few pictures I saw a while back. It’s made from Purple Heart and true Ebony. Sanded to 4000 grit then polished. I will be sure to pass it down as an heirloom.

Very nice job. I need to make a wood try square. I’m getting a bit sick of using a heavy metal square and the pythagorean theorem.
