Loft ladder in Douglas Fir made for a new client. Rough sawn 2×12’s milled down to 1 1/2” x 11 1/2”. Stair treads are through tenoned with a 1/4” chamfered reveal and wedged with 2 birch wedges. Hand holds routed between stairs and are very comfy. The stringers were too long for my shop so they were jointed with a homemade tracksaw and a router with an edge guide. Client loves it and I now have the contract to finish the rest of the house. Floors, trim and a whole kitchen!

Nice, you did a great job on it. Does it move or is it in a fixed position?

It is bolted in to place but is fairly easy to move. It has already crossed the room since it was first installed

In addition to the above, I appreciate the hand-holds. A nice security addition.
