Some friends of mine wanted toolboxes for their grandkids, they wanted to do the painting so when they get that done I’ll post it if they give me a pic.

Basically they gave me some scrap hard board and said use this, I just cut up some cleats and glued and stapled together. cut a piece of scrap cherry that was laying around for the handle. They bought a bunch of plastic tools to fill them with.

They are a nice simple design!

I would have had a little smaller corner brackets though.

I do like them and I am sure the kids are going to love them. I am also positive they will be hauling other things besides tools!

Love ‘em. In the process of building a few myself for Christmas presents. But, alas, I think I’m moving from lumber to plywood.

ralbuck Yea i should have gone a bit smaller but I wanted a lot of glue surface, if there is a next time maybe i’ll at least chamfer them and cut off the staples if they come thru. Thanks for the comment i appreciate it
