It takes alot more work to make “pallet furniture” First you find the pallets, ( found mine at a carpet center to help avoid contaminants ) disassemble the pallet, pull unwanted nails, sort out good pieces, avoid nails when cutting, watch for twisted boards, and then sand everything, assemble, and sand everything again.
But the finish product can be pretty rustic.

P.S. watch out for splinters when hand sanding

Neat design! I grab pallets as well, and totally relate to what you’re saying here. It’s also a great way to learn because if there are any serious mistakes…you grab another pallet! Thanks for sharing!
