Update 12/2: the finished bed, painted, with bedding (made by grandma) and a doll. She’ll get it on Christmas.
===== Original Post
When visiting some friends recently, my 1 1/2 year old daughter kept putting their little baby doll to bed in her little bed.
So, my daughter needs a little baby doll bed for her dolls.
Poplar, mortise and tenon, accommodates a 20×10.5 inch mattress (I stole the dimensions from Pottery Barn). It now has one coat of cotton candy pink on it.
I am frustrated by the lame fence and hold down system on the jet mortiser, so I’ll be doing something about that.
I sprayed this with my Little Critter Sprayer (aka the cloud maker).

Awsome idea. My daughter (3) just got one of those American Dolls and this would be the perfect way for me to make my go at mortise and tennons. Thanks for the inspiration!
Have your say...
