This is another simple project that can be made in just a few hours but will make a great Christmas present. I think anything that is hand made as a personal gift always beats store bought.

simple yet has an elegance. Was it freehand or a template?

JimRochester, thanks for the comment. I made the first one of these free hand then made a template so I could reproduce them. This past summer I made 3 of them as wedding gifts which were a big hit. One of them was used in the ceremony when the mothers light the outside candles then the couple lighted a wick from their mothers candle and jointly started the center candle. I’m sure it will be in their family for future use.
