Completly reconfigured this one from a 70’s tile nightmare to a kind of cottage style with beadboard walls, cap rail and white/chrome fixtures.
Vanity/Cabinet/Built-in: Solid cherry and plywood construction
Finish: Tung oil/Poly with Spar Urethane on the vanity top.
Did I mention – I LOVE cherry! haha

Funny you should mention that, I’m a video editor/motion graphics, looking to make a change also! Too much time in front of a monitor!

Graphics must pay great! To keep you from woodworking. That is some nice work.

This guest bath is a whole bunch better than my regular bathroom! Your graphic designing job definitely shows. This is a beautiful addition to your home.
Like Jeff stated above you definitely could go pro. Just stay away from Columbus Indiana so I can make some money!
Thanks for showing off, and again, great work!

Really nice redo of that bathroom. I dig what you say about wanting to change to something that you can get your hands around. I too, make a living as a graphic artist/provocateur. Luckily, my company knows of my other skills so my job gets me out of the office almost everyday. Still, I wonder how much fun I’d have if I had to get a projectl done to some else’s specs, on time and within budget. Hmmmmm….. sounds more and more like the job I already have but without the sawdust. Go figure.

Thanks JC! It does, but I think I’d rather have the sawdust than the carpal tunnel! ;)

I dig what you say about the carpal tunnel. I’ve got a bit of it in my left hand and I’m RIGHT HANDED! Go figure. Anyway, it becomes an annoyance when I’m trying to work wood too. Very annoying. Doc sez, she can shoot me up with steroids or else I’ll have to get cut someday. Oh well. I’m sure I’ll live long enough to regret most everything I’ve ever enjoyed.
Maybe not.

Brian,
I am glad that this one came back up on list as well. Beautifully done. Your finishing job looks excellent as well. And I love cherry too. It is my favorite wood with which to work.
Thanks for the post.

Thanks again all… and mine too Scott – you just can’t beat cherry!
Take care of that JC, you only live once and there is still a LOT more to get done! ;)
