Here is a end table I just finished. I will give it away for Christmas. It is made of white oak. I assembled the drawer using sliding dovetail joints. This is my second project to use this type of joint and I was a bit better this time. Sides and back panels were raised with the router. I wiped it down with one coat of Boiled linseed oil and followed that with a few coats of a linseed/poly mix.

Looks great, but I wish the pictures were larger. I just bought a dovetail jig and plan on using it to make a few drawers for the same purpose. After reading your comment about the sliding dovetail I am now thinking about trying that also.

that is a great looking table.
I like the curved detail in the bottom shelf.
I’ve got a dovetail jig as well… I should really dust that thing off and use it more!
