This is my second tissue box and my first commission (other than those from the wife).

I continue to learn a lot with each project.

One of the things I did to get better splines is use a cheap 7 1/4 circular saw blade. I found one in the stack that was flat ground. It didn’t leave the bat-wings that my table saw blade does and I didn’t have to drop big money on a blade that is going to cut at most a few feet of wood in a year.

I’m still learning a lot about finishing and I ended up seeing some imperfections only when the lacquer went on.

My very first thing on ’’to do’’ list. I’m also learning on every and everyone’s project – finally someone showed the bottom side and the way it is refilled. Thanks!
