Here is one of our recent projects. We adding a little color to this one. The base is curly red oak with a purple heart spline. The top three runners all have a 3/8” strip of qs sycamore sandwiched in with rock maple. The flower design was an experiment that seems to have tied it all together nicely. Flowers where done by hand and filled with various colored fine glitter.
Some mistakes are evident but hopefully we’ve learned enough from this one to get more striking results with future versions. A cowboy version has been ordered so we’ll see how that turns out.

Nice looking quilt rack. You may be interesting in using a product called inlace= for your decorative details. Thanks for sharing.

Thank You all for the kind comments. Actually, inlace is on my list of ‘must try sometime’ items. I’ve used glitter, pepper, colored salt and various other things but inlace appears to have the color down pat.
