Yours looks a lot better than mine. I used anything i laying around to covert an old book case into a storage case shelf. 1/2”, 3/4” solid wood, ply wood, some painted. You get the idea.

Your right simple and functional…. You will save a lot of time from here on out knowing where your hardware is. You can never have enough storage space. Good Job…

Great job.
I did one very similar to yours a few years ago. I have since replaced it with one on
wheels that stores under my workbench. It comes in handy when I am assembling.
I got the shelves at Lowes.

I built mine into the bottom of my storage shelves. Easy to get to and are at eye level.
