Starting Christmas gifts late but excited having new shop in full production. I have 18 mugs, Humidor and 500 bottle wine cellar to do by December 23rd. Sound like any of fellow jocks here? This mug is the last of my Spalted Oak supply, a joy to work with because of the nature of the decay. Have to be careful where the soft spots are. I saved some live edge on handle, made perfect thumb catch. The Art is done with my burner using pointism, about 1000 dots. Thanks for looking.

Very cool. I love spalted oak.

I sympathize with your workload.

What did you use for a finish? Can I drink beer out of it?
