A friend of mine called on me the day Her Bulldog Champ had passed. So I put this together. She loved it. And it is now Champs resting place. It is a bit large for the size of the dog. But He was a very special dog. One could say he was larger than life.

Beautiful Urn I’m sure she felt it was an amazing tribute to her lost companion .

That is beautifully done and the way the grain wraps around really sets it off. A fitting resting place for a beloved pet.

Thanks everyone! I have only been woodworking for a few years now as a hobbyist. I’m really enjoying what I am doing. And making something like this for a close friend makes me feel great. Even though there was a loss involved. Also I have made a promise to her that I would not make another one like this. Unless it is only for her other animals.

Box looks great. I like those red edges.
