I am working in Moscow Russia right now. I have brought my overseas wood shop along as I always do. This year I seem to be doing more carving than trucks right now. {no worry, I have a custom track crane on the bench….}
My tree is made from copper wire. The base of the tree is a piece of #2 and branches are #10.12, and 18 gauge. Remember I am an electrician. All soldered and attached to a plywood base. All the wood pieces are carved right here since June. Russian has some great Lepa [Basswood] There are a few full carved figures, a couple wine stoppers and plenty of ornaments. I might have given at least a dozen others away already.
Think I should add more branches?

Unique, interesting and intriguing!

I do like it as is!

I know you are now in a totally different cultural background; so, you should do as you like within the cultural frame you are currently in!

I hope you keep up your hobby skills and enjoy your Russia time immensely!
I think it is neat; but, I am called ODD on my good days!
