Simple design compared to some of the boards seen around here lately, but it looks hefty and well made. Im sure it will be a treasured gift.

Looks great. I like to keep them simple then maybe the person will use it. I made a really difficult one last year for some friends and they are now wall hangers. I’ll bet this board weighs a ton. I made one like it, same woods in 6/4 but it was way too heavy so I resawed it in my bandsaw to 2 boards almost 3/4”. Still same pattern, size and 1/2 the weight,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and I get 2 boards for one glue up.

Very nice. Did you add feet? or did you router the edge to grab?

I added rubber feet and rounded over the edges to make it easier to pick up. Works well. Thanks for looking.

very nice, I just started making end grains, and was surprised how much more time they take.
