I decided to make me some thing for me. At church I noticed most of my fellow church goers have there bibles in cases or leather bags and I also noticed my bible is showing some wear. I didn’t want to spend $30.00 to $50.00 on a case that looks like every one else, so I decided to make me one. I got the idea from Steve at Woodworking for Mere Mortals. Made from red cedar and finished it with a mineral oil finish. My wife did the wood burning of my last name on the front, she sure can do some nice burning.
