Carved Jewelry Box

Made from an old Birch tree that had died a few years ago from drought.
Stained and waxed a couple of times.

Theresa,

The moment I saw the carved box, I said, “Theresa!” I just knew it was yours. Your carving is always so lovely. This box is exceptionally nice.

Thanks heaps guys
I do enjoy carving and especially when it is on something practical.
As for working with the Birch it is a great wood.
However this piece was a little too soft in areas so I over carved some bits.
But overall it has come up ok.

It’s nice watching you progress, learn, & make MORE COOL stuff each time!

Thank you… You’re doing GOOD!
