I’ve had this idea for a while to create the look as the ocean floor. White sand, some dark rocks for contrast and the walnut was suppose to be an old ship. I hope that makes sense. I bet you haven’t seen this before. Glass top and a lacquer finish. This was a really fun project for me and just enough of a challenge to keep the skills sharp. All from solid walnut. The rest of the guys at the shop we’re pretty impressed with the look. Cheers.

This make me want to ‘help’ you with the decorations of your seafloor, there are no two sea floors alike. Were you nervous cutting into that serious board footage of spendy walnut?

exelectrician – I was a bit nervous only because I had to change the plans to fit the lumber I purchased. But that was part of the fun. And I love the smell of walnut fresh cut. Thanks guys
