I’ve never tried an end grain cutting before. I found a board at the shop and went for it. The juice ring and handle made this one for me more than just pieces of wood glued together. Decided to give to my Mom who was thrilled with the surprise. She is afraid to use it!

Looks good. Tell her there is no fear to use it, unless a guest has an allergy to nuts. Then she can use her plastic one. I like the juice ring. Well done.

Using them makes it look even better. Have made over 300 of them and my Mom wont use hers either. LOL

My daughter said the same for end grain board I made for her. Now, She has been hacking at it for several years and it is hard to tell. Tell your mother to use hers as it will outlast her. (Be tactful when you say that.)

You did a really nice job… Looks great.
