Non traditional peg board tool storage.

In needing some storage space in my shop on very bare blank walls I opted for the traditional peg board route as it’s a pretty versatile way of storing anything on a wall. I don’t however like the way they look. I painted it a very dark blue, almost black and while it was still wet tossed some blue chalk line dust on it. blew the excess off when it was dried and sealed it. I wrapped it in maple that I had lying around, cut a 1/4” dado to slide the pegboard into then shaped the edges, pretty happy about how it turned out. Definately doesn’t look like your traditional boring white peg board tool storage.

Thanks for looking,

Nice fix. Now I’ll have to frame my”boring white peg board” ,that has looked like crap all this time.
