This is an old larder. At least 70 years old belonging to my grandma. After removing layers of paint,was able to varnish it and do some glass painting.

I wish she is around to get pleased.
I kind of inherited it. Actually there were no takers. So I took it and restored it.
Now everybody in the family likes it.

Nice work-I usually prefer restoration work to building things from scratch, but the supply of decent repairable furniture is almost nil anymore. Good looking project!

The history, is a trace. I am respectful to old things, they reflect and show warmly human hands and part of soul of the master. Looks good.
