I told my family I didn’t want a WalMart or Sears or commercial Christmas of any kind this year. The spirit of Christmas is not what it use to be or should be and all I want is an old fashion Christmas where gifts are made and given from the heart. These are just a few items I made for family and friends. The first picture is all the items to date which I’ve completed. Pichure #2 is a box my son wanted to store his “break down Bow” in, inside and hardwaer not complete yet. #3 is a pen set holder for my 2nd son for his business desk. #4 is an Easil stand for framed pictures made for Grandma’s and my wife’s boss. #5 is a minature cabin for Grandpa’s trail village. And last but not least is a few cutting boards for my Daughter and Daughter in Law. Christmas is alive and well this year and it has spured new intrest in my family to surch for and develop their own talents.

I like this. Something I have always wanted to do. I am looking to retire next year so I should have the time for this. Wonderful projects, love the “bow box”!

I always make a few gifts for my family…Isn’t that one of the reasons we get into this woodworking game…?
