Johan, did you stain the wood? I cannot see the hinges, you used pin hinges I guess.

Yes those are pin hinges.I use this style in most of my ring and bracelet boxes.It is difficult to get quality hinges in
South africa,and very expensive to import.I will post a set of photo’s and explanation soon.This wood was not stained it is the natural colour of the wood.I use a mixture like Danish oil that i mix myself,and then polish it with a beeswax mixture.I use earth magnets to keep the boxes closed
