My son and I have been working on these after school this week. It was a good way to use up some scraps, play in the shop and spend time with my son. Finished with mineral oil & beeswax.

Very nice. Projects are sweeter when you can use scraps to complete them.

Very nice, both the project and the ‘son time’. :) Like definn, my son now runs his own home construction company. I often like to think that it was the time spent in the shop that led him in this direction.

Great father, son project. The boards look great!!
Nothing like time in the shop together, I’m sure it’s those types of memories he always remember with fondness.

Looks like you got them done with time to spare. They look great and they should make lots of smiles on Christmas Day.
