I always wanted to build a Krenov cabinet, so I built two instead. The cabinet on the left is rosewood with a cherry legs. The right cabinet is block mottled Makore on Maple. Both cabinets are sequence matched veneer from the doors to the back. The interior is just two drawers with veneered faces matching the outside veneer. The handles are also veneered. I also used knives hinges for the doors.

I can cross this off my list.

I have never been a fan of this style cabinet. But, these are turning the tide. Beautiful work.

James would approve.

Beautiful. The shape of those legs is downright gorgeous. Cabinets look really well done. Enjoy them!
