HI there !!!

A very good friend asked me for a bench with a rustic look, room for at least 4 baby ducks, and since I had the choice of wood this is what I came up with.

It is five feet long, made from tiger maple, african padauk for the top and cherry to support all the happy group.

I have to admit that I took inspiration within this group here.

Love the bench. My only criticism is that it is so nice, I wouldn’t want to do any work on it for fear of damaging it. Nice job!

I’d say you over delivered on that one.

Rustic look? Hmmm. Well the design is rustic enough but the craftsmanship is sure not. Wonderful bench. Bet my daughter-in-law could use one a lot like it. Thanks for the inspiration.
