yes, i am still building!

this is a bookshelf i’ve just finished for my youngest daughter. the design isn’t original, but the addition of the back was one i added to prevent racking.

simply made of 2”x8”s :)

I used minwax “honey” stain and a few coats of tung oil. I’m pretty happy with how it came out.

now on to the bed frame project…

Looks good.
I would have extended the side rails and mounted the top and bottom shelf to the inside of those rails so you wouldn’t see their end grain when you look from the side. Just my 2 cents.
