The day has come that I am now officially a professional woodworker. I have completed my first commission (that is not for family or friends) and actually have gotten paid for my work. This is so cool! So I was approached to make trash can containers for a popular restaurant in Chicago. Don’t know which one yet, but anyhow, I made these for a finishing guy who will then put them in the restaurant. These are basically designed to house big trashcans around waiting staff stations. Pretty straight forward design with hardwood edging and mitered corners. I made these out of 3/4” oak plywood with the top surround made from 5/4” oak.
