Bear Table

As a gift for my now ex-wife I took a large piece of Pine that she had found in her Grandfathers garage and wood burned a family of bears against a mountain setting. The image itself I found in an old book about an alaskan adventure.

I don’t think I was a great artist back then in that way or anything, but she was very happy and she still has it in her living room some 20 years later.

Art is in the eye of the beholder. This is a really nice bit of work. It brings out an emotional response.
Good enough for me. :-) Very nice work.

Your 2-D work is quite impressive! The bear has a really nice fluid motion that makes him looks heavy and mobile AND he does look like a massive wild bear. The details are quite nice too, not to mention the quality construction. Great work!
