A few months back (maybe a year) Bill was posting some projects that he made with his BowlCrafter. I sent him a note and asked him if I sent him some wood and some extra for himself, if he’d make me a couple of bowls.

I sent him some 12” square maple burl and some 12” Sapele and some other smaller pieces to fill up the one-price postal box for him to try his magic.

A little later he send me a couple of pictures. I told him that wasn’t enough, that I wanted the actual bowls.

A little later I got the actual bowels and they are quite beautiful. Thanks Bill for the work on these.

So even though I get to post them as a project it was him that did all the work. I’ve seen a couple of his other projects with some of the extra wood that was sent. So I’m hoping that he’s continuing to have fun with the extra wood.

Karson, I just noticed this post, thank you for both your kind words AND that beautiful wood. As an old friend, Eddie Castelin is fond of saying, “Will Work for wood”.

They are very nice and I’m sure that you must be pleased with them, Karson.
