I saw a modern bed frame made of oak by a company “Hasena” and duplicated it but out of solid cherry wood and made a night table to go along with it.

Did it cost you less than $2500? If it did you saved some good money there.
looks good. Nice work.

I googled the name you posted “hasena” I found the oak one that looks like this. Very expensive nice job you should make and sell them.

Excellent build and very beautiful cherry wood. This is one of the best projects I have seen on here in a while. You should be very proud.

I really like your bed! But, I would like to see more pictures of it.

It is in my plans to build a modern style bed for our master bedroom because I have yet to like a store bought bed both from design and cost perspective. But I have been procrastinating on it for a few years. I think I should get to it sooner than later – LOL!

Are you willing to share plans/details for your bed? Can you post more details on the joinery for the rails and head and foot boards? How easy is it to disassemble for moving?

I just found a photo of the Hasena bed that you built. Beautiful! I’d like to build one as well. Did you save your plans? Would it be possible to send them to me??

Have your say...
