I saw this on here a while ago by Wisecobuilder and made it a favorite. I decided to make one and as hard as I tried I could not find a metal hanger to screw in the top so I decided to build one around a plastic hanger. The hanger just slides right in. I used oak and walnut. I’m happy with the way it turned out and my wife loves it.

I saw some made where you have to epoxy the tip of a metal hanger into the wood. I like your design much better. Very clever. Judging by the 14 times favorite….....other people must like it also.
Well done.
