Recently refinished this c1860 Chestnut dining room table. I had 7 leaves to start with but two of those were too warped to reuse so they were ripped down, reglued and placed into the new pantry closet. The table has two coats of Minwax clear gloss poly followed by two coats of Minwax clear satin. The chair shown was bought from an antique dealer and refinised also. I wanted to mention it as someone actually used it as a sawhorse! Yes, there’s two saw marks in the right armrest! Can you believe it?!
